Just like the Sea, the Crawford name,
Spreads far and wide, its true.
So like 2 ships that pass by night,
Our meetings, were too few.
You are a man, great uncle,
I wish I had seen more.
To hear you tell, a tale or two,
would have been great for sure.
But every word I've heard so far,
The stories I've been told.
In my mind will resonate,
from now until I'm old.
So rest in peace great uncle,
you're sadly on your way.
Even though your ship has sailed,
your legend's here to stay.
